This page covers the website
mskerba.com is a plain static website. It sets no cookies and embeds no advertising trackers, social embeds or external fonts. Most of the site collects nothing at all. The one exception is the six Poised product and guide pages, which send two anonymous analytics events — described in website analytics below.
Each app has its own, more detailed policy: Aura, Poised, Plateful.
What this site collects
Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, no forms, no comment boxes, no newsletter sign-up and no advertising. No cookie banner appears because there are no cookies to consent to, including for the analytics described below.
The site is served by Netlify, which — like any web host — processes standard server request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent in order to deliver the page and defend against abuse. I do not query, analyse or export that data. See Netlify's privacy policy.
Website analytics
Six pages on this site — the Poised product page and its five practice guides — send anonymous analytics events to Mixpanel, Inc. Their purpose is narrow: to see which Poised pages people visit and which App Store button they click, so the pages can be measured and improved.
The pages are:

- /poised/small-talk-practice/
No other page on this site loads analytics — not the home page, not the Aura or Plateful pages, not the support, terms or privacy pages.
What the two events contain

How it is configured
- No cookies and no local storage. Mixpanel's storage is switched off and set to memory only, so nothing is written to your device and nothing follows you between pages or visits.
- IP geolocation is switched off (
ip:false), so Mixpanel does not derive a city, region or country from your address. Your IP address does still reach Mixpanel's servers as part of the network request itself, as it would for any website you load; it is simply not used for location. - No session replay, no automatic capture, no heatmaps. Only the two events above are sent, with the properties listed.
- No profiles and no identification. No user profile is created and no identify call is made.
- No name, email address or contact details are collected, because none are asked for.
- No link to the Poised app. Nothing from the app — its anonymous app user identifier, device identifiers or Apple Ads attribution — is used here, and no attempt is made to connect a website visitor to an app user.
- Only those five
utm_values are read. Any other query parameter in the address is ignored. - Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are respected. If your browser sends either signal, the analytics code does not start and no event is sent at all.
How long it is kept
Mixpanel deletes these events automatically two years after they occur, on a rolling basis. This retention period is set by Mixpanel for this project rather than by this website. This implementation does not create Mixpanel user profiles.
The Mixpanel project uses United States data residency. Mixpanel processes this data as a separate company under its own privacy policy.
What this site does not do
- No Google Analytics, no advertising analytics, and no analytics of any kind outside the six Poised pages above.
- No cookies, local storage or fingerprinting.
- No externally hosted fonts — type is rendered with fonts already on your device.
- No advertising, retargeting pixels or social embeds.
- No selling of personal information, and no sharing of it for advertising.

Emailing mskerba13@gmail.com means I receive your address and whatever you write. That's used only to answer you, and I don't add it to any mailing list. Ask me to delete the thread and I will.

Links to the App Store or to a provider's own policy lead to sites governed by their own terms. I'm not responsible for how they handle your data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA to access, correct or delete personal information held about you. Since this site holds none, such a request will usually be answered by confirming exactly that. Email mskerba13@gmail.com if you'd like it in writing.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age that applies where you live if your jurisdiction sets one, and no personal information is knowingly collected from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated if the site changes. The date at the top always reflects the most recent revision.
